Tour Overview
Tour Dublin's pubs with four or more of your closest friends! With every group of five or more one person tours free! Your group will dine at the Abbey Tavern, crawl the haunts of James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, and Bernard Shaw, and visit the pubs of the Temple Bar known for their traditional Irish music An opportunity to taste the best of Irish beer in good company. Tours generally start on a Thursday and end on Sunday night

Accommodation
Four nights accommodation in a centrally located Dublin Hotel.
Normally, Depart USA Wednesday, arrive in Dublin Thursday. Return to the USA on the Monday following.

Itinerary

Day 1: Thursday St. Patrick's, Pubs
In the morning, tour St. Patrick's Cathedral. The group will receive vouchers for their entry to St. Patrick's, a 30-minute walk from your centrally-located hotel. Afternoon activities are up you. The group will reconvene at the hotel in the evening to embark on a pub tour with a private guide. The pubs to be visited are about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The evening tour lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours. Overnight Dublin.

Day 2: Friday Leisure Day, Abbey Tavern
You are at leisure during the day to explore Dublin. In the evening, the group will start the pub crawl. Tonight enjoy a four-course meal at the Abbey Tavern. The meal will be accompanied by Irish ballad music, with its blend of fiddles, pipes, tin whistles, and "bones" at this authentic Old-World tavern. The group will be met at the hotel by the driver and vehicle for the private round-trip ride to the Abbey Tavern. The evening tour will last approximately three hours. Overnight Dublin.

Day 3: Saturday Leisure Day, Traditional Irish Music Pub Crawl
You are at leisure during the day to explore Dublin. Tonight's feature is a Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl, led by two professional musicians who perform while telling the story of Irish music and its influences on contemporary world music. The Musical Pub Crawl visits famous pubs in the Temple Bar area. All pubs are privately booked and in close proximity to each other. The pubs to be visited are approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The evening tour lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours. Overnight Dublin.

Day 4: Sunday Leisure Day, Jameson Literary Pub Crawl
You are at leisure during the day to explore Dublin. The spotlight tonight turns to literary topics as The Jameson Literary Pub Crawl follows in the footsteps of Joyce, Behan, Beckett, Shaw, Kavanagh, and other Irish literary greats. This guided tour, winner of the "Living Dublin Award," visits a number of Dublin's most famous pubs with literary connections, while actors provide performances and commentary between stops. The pubs to be visited are approximately a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The evening tour lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours. Overnight Dublin.

Day 5: Monday Departure
Depart Dublin for return to the USA.

PRICING

  • All prices are per person sharing a room, not including airfare.
  • There is a supplement for a non-shared room (single supplement).
  • Inclusive of four nights' accommodation, transport as shown, pub tours, guide as indicated in the itinerary, and one person free for the land portion of the tour, provided there is a group of at least five (four full-paying tour members).
  • Participants traveling at the same time will count as one group with one free place available
  • Additional supplement for airport transfers, if required, to and from Dublin airport is $25 per person

    Free Travel for Tour Leader
    Team leader or designated member of the group can join the tour for free, for groups of five or more. This person travels free for the ground portion of the tour, sharing a twin or double room with private facilities, provided he or she is accompanied by the group of at least four others paying the full cost per person for the ground portion of the tour. Prices differ based on size of group.
